Who provides LIC HFL Vidyadhan Scholarship 2024?

LIC Housing Finance Ltd. (LICHFL),  established in 1989,  is one of India’s largest Housing Finance Companies. Its goal is to provide long-term finance to individuals for the purchase or construction of houses or flats for residential purposes in India. LIC HFL also provides finance on existing property for business or personal needs and also gives loans to professionals for the purchase or construction of Clinics or Nursing Homes or Diagnostic Centers and its types of equipment, and even Office.

The financial institution has been running various social welfare programs Under its Corporate social responsibility initiative. Among these LIC HFL Vidyadhan Scholarship is a major education-related initiative for underprivileged meritorious students.

LIC HFL Vidhyadhan Scholarship 2024 for Class 8 – 10 students

Who can Apply?

  • Any student who are enrolled in Class 8, 9, or 10 at any recognized institution in India.
  • Applicants must have scored at least 60% marks in their respective previous class.
  • The annual Family income of applicant must be less than INR 3,00,000 (3 lakhs).
  • Preference will be given to applicants from low income groups or students in crisis (orphans, differently-abled, critically ill children etc.)

LIC HFL Vidyadhan scholarship for class 10 passed students

Who can Apply?

  • Any student who is enrolled in Class 11 or 12 or under ITI/Diploma/Polytechnic programs at any recognized institution in India.
  • Applicants must have a minimum score 60% marks in their respective Class 10 board examination.
  • The annual family income of the applicant must be less than INR 3,00,000 (3 lakhs).
  • Preference will be given to applicants from low-income groups or students in crisis (orphans, differently-abled, critically ill children etc.)
  • Scholarship Amount: INR 10,000 per year for 2 years (For Class 11 and 12)

LIC HFL Vidhyadhan Scholarship for Graduation Students 

Who can Apply?

  • Any students who are enrolled in the first year of a 3-year Undergraduate programmes (in any stream) at any / at any recognized college/university/institution in India.
  • Students in the final year of their graduation program are not eligible to apply.
  • Applicants must have scored a minimum 60% marks in the Class 12 board examination.
  • The annual family income of the applicant must be less than INR 3,00,000 (3 lakhs).
  • Preference will be given to applicants from low income groups or students in crisis (orphans, differently-abled, critically ill children etc.)

LIC HFL Vidhyadhan Scholarship 2024 for Post-Graduation Students

Who can Apply?

  • Any students who are enrolled in post-graduation / PG programs at any recognized college / university / institution in India.
  • Students in final year of their post-graduation programme are not eligible to apply.
  • Applicants must have scored at least 65% marks in their respective UG level programme.
  • The annual family income of the applicant must be less than INR 3,00,000 (3 lakhs).
  • Preference will be given to applicants from low-income groups or students in crisis (orphans, differently-abled, critically ill children etc.)
  • Students enrolled in the first year of the post-graduation program at any recognized college/university/institution (in the academic year 2022-23) in India can apply.
  • The applicant must have secured at least 60% marks at the undergraduate level.
  • The applicant’s family annual income should be below Rs 360,000/-.
  • NOTE: Preference will be given to girl students, students with disabilities, and students who have lost either or both of their parents.

Below are the important documents that students need to prepare before applying: –

  • A photo Copy any Govt provided ID card (Adhar/Voter/PAN/Passport)
  • A passport-size color photograph
  • Marksheet of previous educational qualification.
  • Admission proof (School, College, University, ID, Bonafide certificate, etc) of the continuing institution.
  • Admission receipt for the current academic year.
  • Proof of Income Certificate issued by Government Authorities (Form 16A/income certificate from government authority/salary slips, etc.) 
  • Marksheet of Previous Examination as proof of Merit
